KIB	Where do rights come from? If humans give other humans the rights, then nothing is sacred. Everything would be ok. I give you the right to do anything, hows that? Perhaps all the people that have a hard time with family matters really want to avoid the fact that God (Jesus for justdave) tells us to spread his word. So I guess we really are Gods messengers huh? Killing another human being is wrong. Remember abortionists support letting a baby be almost born then killing the baby by sticking a sharp object in the back of the neck or head. Now that ambiotic fluid stem cells may be as good or better than embryonic stem cells, abortionist still advise no we need the stem cells from fetus's. There is big money in aborting babies. The abortionists lied about the numbers of women having abortions, they lied about the numbers of women killed in home abortions. The pro-lifers lied about the numbers of women killed in abortion "hospitals", and a handful of other reasons were lied about. The truth is, we should redo. Roe v. Wade, and start from scratch. "Roe" was really two women, neither of whom had an abortion! Since this is the reason women have the "right" to destroy "their" bodies, we should re-examine it. The "fetus" has it's own dna, it's own blood, it's own beating heart. That's what should be logically considered. After the second trimester, many babies can survive outside the womb. It would be a struggle, but it's possible. Why do a few hours matter in a personhood? When a MA woman shot herself in the stomach as she was going into labor, she could not be charged with murder because of the abortion laws. Yet last month a Missouri woman was charged with involuntary manslaughter because her drinking led to the death of her newborn. It doesn't make sense. The key words that you stated above are UNLESS its Incest, Rape or Medical Condition then its OK. Erica, AKA Stretch	I agree with your argument! Although I'm not sure why women do it. Personally I feel they believe it could be a good solution as a birth control method. This should not be used as birth control. There are several avenues to prevent pregnancy without killing a child. Also, many people feel they aren't ready to have a child because they are not in a committed relationship, unable to take care of themselves, or still kids themselves. If that is the case, don't have sex, you aren't ready to face the consequences and responsibilities of being an adult. after thought If a couple is trying to have a baby and they find out it has some type of disability, not life-threatening, instead of aborting consider putting the child up for a adoption. Many people want children who are unable to have any of their own would be happy and willing to adopt.
