Dottie R	Maybe you can ask one of the lawyers to call him and explain the process and where your father's estate is within that process. Why do you have 2 lawyers on it? If they're not partners, that might be slowing things down. I'm sorry you lost your father. I'm also sorry your brother is hassling you. wendy c	restraining orders are normally used if there is some type of threat involved, which does not seem to be the case here. You can draw a line. You can make an offer that you will be happy to personally meet with him WITH THE LAWYERS present. And, state calmly and clearly that unless he chooses to discuss it in a civil way, you will not open/read ANY emails from him. Harassing does not work, if you don't open the email. And, you will have made the civil offer to allow him to talk with the legal persons who are handling it. And, stick to what you say. DON'T delete the emails.. just make a folder for them, and move them there. If any threats are made, you will have record. Your other option is having a letter written by the attorney, and send that. nas88caror 300 09? way to go BK!	talk to your lawyers and have them send him a letter.. it takes a long time.. at least 6 months if not longer a buddy of mine when his father passed it was almost a year before everything was settled Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Esther S	Oh dearie, this is a time for you to be strong and patient. Respond to each note by saying that you will provide it to the attorney for the estate. Ignore them otherwise. Don't try to get a protective order--that is horrible advice. You might get one, but you will damage the relationship even more than your brother is doing. Your brother is being a horrible troll, but you can rise above it. My heart goes out to you. I hope you can find it in your heart to love your brother despite his bad behavior.
