Yes there should be capital punishment. The crimes... Murder and treason come to mind. I also believe that it should be a swift punishment.

Yes: For murder no matter of whom; for terrorists no matter in what cause or religion; for child molesters, and for the bastard who gave me a parking ticket when I was parked quite legally and caused me no end of strife before it got cancelled!

It's a hard decision to make but I would say Yes for Capital Punishment...the problem is not to wait years to carry out the sentence.. get it over with as soon as possible.

Yes, for all capital crimes!
You may disagree but this is the only way to put an end to them!
It would take a while but sooner than later the message would be clear.
Do the crime, forfeit your life!
I believe every living human being knows the difference between capital right and capital wrong by the age of 7.
Have fun but be safe!

No - in no circumstances. The State must place itself above retribution, and cannot condone the taking of a life in any circumstances.

Most definately!
Every offender knows their rights too well now. They squeeze out of everything on damn technicalities!
I for one hate the thought of paying for these ******** while they sit on their **** all day watching TV and DVDs, or playing music on their hi-fi, or working out in the multi gym that everybody else on the planet has to pay hundreds of pounds to join.
Their rights? They should have no rights. That is what they forfeit along with their freedom when they choose to commit these crimes. We have no deterrent. We will have to bring it back or else we will just be a nation of prisons with inmates who live better than we do.
S*d that!

Just wait until the civilized world falls under sharia law.
You won't even have to ask, and would probably be beheaded if you did ask.

No. Most crimes are committed under circumstances that
involve all humanity in one way or another. It is a long and
debatable subject, so to make it simple to understand, say
the offender was the only person in existence, the answer
is no. Say he has a partner, the answer still is no. Now say
there are three, then the answer is perhaps. Customs and
what is right or wrong build up with the number of people
concerned, so how can we judge if, often we are the
greatest collective offender. Therefore, I repeat, NO.
