A baby is born where God chooses it to be born. Yes, it makes no difference to me how many non citizens have their babies here in the US. By the way, I have one parent who was not a US citizen for many years, but a Mexican citizen.

of course...because there's never a problem with it and besides what if the parents didn't plan the pregnancy and didn't have money to travel back just to give birth

Of course. What do you wanna do instead? Put a cork in them? What are we supposed to do, airlift them across the border when they go into labor?
Do you think it would be right to refuse medical care to a woman in labor simply because she's not a citizen? Childbirth is a lot more dangerous than we give it credit for nowadays. Without modern medicine, it is by no means unheard of for babies or mothers to die in childbirth.

i think the baby has the right to be a citizen since it was born in the U.S. , regardless if the parents are not citizens

Yes. Just a baby born in most other countries has the right to be a citizen of that country.

Yup, I think it's right. It's not the baby's fault who they were born to. If they were born here, we can't mistreat them on account of who their parents were.

I think the parents themselves should be legal citizens, but if they are born here they may have a better life, that's probably the reason they want to have the babies here anyway.

Would it be wrong for US citizens to go to say... Canada and have their kids there? But then again what kind of parents would they be to not try to do what would be the best for their children?

It's a question of well-being of infants though. Do you want to deport babies? Do you want to turn away dying people from emergency rooms because they don't have health insurance or because they are not citizens? Look at the whole picture.

Is it right? I am not one to decided whether something is correct or not, but I will offer the alternative. They live their lives as illegal immigrants, hiding from authorities and constantly in fear of the US Government. If they do get caught, then we spend tax payers money to put them in jail then ship them back to a country they probably have never been to. That is assuming that you can figure out their nationality so you know which country their parents came from. I don't know about you, but giving them a chance at becoming productive members of society sounds good to me. Worried about English? I wouldn't be. They will be having American schooling, so they'll have to learn english, at least to a working extent.

That could be yes or no. If they are born in the US legally like with a green card then yes. If they are here illegally then no.

If the parents are in this country legally, then yes, certainly. But not illegals, sorry. That is, once again, rewarding bad behavior. Why is it so bad to expect people to have enough respect for my country to follow it's laws?

First off they should be able to pay for the baby to be born here. Who ever they are.
If they are illegals, bummer for them, once they are found out they should be sent back to where ever they are from. The baby can stay if they prefer for now.
Once we pass the no anchor baby laws that will be a non issue then the whole family can go back home where ever that is and we should bill their country for all hospital and travel expenses.
That should help us out some. The legal immigrants are fine and they should be acting as good citizens, paying there taxes and paying for there own services. Have all the babies you want I just don't want to take care of them or pay for them to be born or to eat. If you bring a life into this world guess what? You both who made it and only you both are responsible for it. All who make them can pay the bills for them.
People need to get resposible for there own lives and quit trying to take advatage of the nice people who make up most of this country.
If you need help temporarily that is fine for our own. If you are a participating citizen of this great nation that is cool, but don't wear our patience thin. You are not our responsibility so don't take our charity for granted. Get a job picking cabages or something because everyone can do the work and they are not so special that they can't do meaningful labor to feed our own country once the illegals are gone.
Just get a flippin job or join the military if you can. Sheesh

Uh.............hell no.
Unfortunately we currently do though. I'm not calling for their mistreatment. I'm sure my tax dollars are getting them all the care they need. Once they are fit they need to go with their parents back to the country they belong in.
