Cops are pigs and like you're a sheep. So we're all farm animals.
Caught any rapists, child molesters, murderers, or pulled anybody out of a burning car lately numb nut? That's how we sleep at night.

He probably sleeps fine in thinking that it was really you who caused your own stress by breaking the law that led him to write you that ticket. He might even sleep better than that if he believes you learned a lesson and perhaps saved your own life.
I just read your edit as well, I agree completely with the fact that you are so juvenile you don't deserve a license. And no I'm not a cop, just a loving mother concerned for the wellbeing of her family when they're on the road with jerks like you.

For real?
I'd expect very well. He gets to encourage you to slow down on the roads / not run red's or stop signs, etc. Then you've got a much better chance of living to see tomorrow.
He gets to help calm down domestic situations where people can (and do) get hurt, beaten up and sometimes killed.
He gets to be the part of what stands between our having a working, functional society and anarchy. Anarchy has it's good points, but I'm not much on the part where anyone can kill me for no reason on a whim.
Cheers,
Douglas

I am not a cop, but how do you sleep knowing you were speeding and threatened other peoples lives? I hate getting a ticket but I have to say if I dont speed and obey the law I have yet to get one. Keep in mind when you are speeding your chances of being seriously hurt and other people around including children are at a higher risk of being killed.

Name calling. Really? Wow, so mature. You ask a question in the Police section and then whine because you think some of the answers may have come from cops? Are you bi-polar or something?
As for the LAME question, I sleep just fine, because I know that while some cry baby like you may be stressed, if you had continued speeding and hit/killed someone, I would feel very bad for not stopping you. And considering the shootings, stabbings, rapes, domestic violence and all the other "fun" things that go on during our shifts, I don't lose a seconds sleep over some kid who isn't happy because he got busted doing something wrong.
Deal with it, man up and either take your licks or quit breaking the law. It is that simple.

But on the whole I sleep pretty well, thanks for asking!

I am not a cop, but if I was one, giving a ticket to some body who deserves, won't keep me awake. I'd be more trouble for not catching the ones I miss.

My boyfriend (cop) sleeps snuggled up with me. So at least I know I'm safe while I'm sleeping.
As far as the rest of your question.... SHUT UP! You got a ticket because YOU were speeding. Plain and simple. Stop crying.

They also help keep the world safe so that's probably a comfort they take with them to bed. A better question would be How do Cops sleep at night knowing all the bad s hit after seeing some of the things they see? Tickets? Come on-big deal....quit getting tickets and you won't be stressed.

They sleep well because they know they are doing their job. If you don't want extra stresses in your life then you shouldn't break the law. Don't break the law and then complain about getting caught.

So, what did you get the ticket for? Police give tickets when they catch someone breaking the law, usually traffic law. They are in the right, so they sleep fine. Maybe it is the ticket-getters who should have trouble sleeping. (And, apparently, you are)

You must be kidding!! You dont know what stress is until you have become a cop. When you become one then let us know how stressful it is when you have to deal with people like yourself everyday and all day.

Let me guess. You got a ticket and now you're all bitter and grumpy, right.
How do you sleep at night knowing that your driving endangers other people's lives?
If you're ever robbed or attacked, don't bother with the "evil" cops, just call Yahoo!

Sorry, just feel the need to say this:
You're getting a ticket because you did something wrong. Plain and simple. If you want less stress, why not try and go the speed limit like everyone else? By you speeding, the officer is actually potentially saving peoples lives from you being reckless.
So, before you let your ignorance take control again, stop and think that maybe, just maybe, everyone else isn't at fault in this world. You are.

tickets????? how petty can you be??? how about wondering how they sleep at night knowing the next day they'll get up, go to work, and may never come back to their wives, husbands or children...I think I'd lose more sleep over the prospect of some low life putting a bullet in me than over the thought I might have stressed out some jerk who earned himself a ticket doing something stupid on the road.

Keith, your an idiot, Seriously. Your also reported for calling cops "pigs", and yes, your still an idiot.
The fact that your behavior is idiotic does not allow you to generalize that the "Police" are "Pigs"; this is far outside of Y/A allowed behavior, which Validates my overt claims your an idiot, which, incidently, is not a generalization of any group but directly targets your individual behavior which is within Y/A guidlines.
Have a swell day.
