Kess	In my state (WA), you first have to get your driver's liscense and then wait six months before you can drive people under the age of 25. The only exception, I believe, is that you can drive people under the age of 25 if there is also someone in the car that is over 25. I may be mistaken, though. Was this answer helpful to you? "You must practice with a parent, guardian, spouse, or an adult 25 years of age or older, who has a valid California driver license. The person must be close enough to take control of the vehicle at any time. A provisional permit does not let you drive alone—not even to a DMV office to take a driving test. Kesha R	u have to wait a year after u get ur license so now that u first got ur permit u have to take one driving lesson with the driver instruction people then u can drive for the next six months with someone over 25 and then after u get ur license u can drive by urself or with someone over 25 but no one under that age then u get to after a year i know sucks but those are the rules Was this answer helpful to you?
