julvrug	You can apply for a lost title IF you had one, the registration is usually not required to sell a car. The only other way is to cut it up and sell it for scrap steel, unless the car is no longer road legal and the intended buyer is looking for parts, then it would depend on the state where you live. Best bet contact your local DMV. IF there is a title that was ever in your name for the car, you can also have the person go to the DMV with you and transfer it there on the spot. J D	You'd have to be crazy or dumb if it's stolen. So please try it. The only way is if it is "junked" but then it has to be a non-running car. You're basically hosed. If you try to claim it as yours you're going to get run through the computer. You have to go to the Secretary of State or Dept of Motor Vehicles.
