Driving test with without a instructor?

I have recently done my lessons with a qualified driving instructor, but i fauiled my test.
I can not afford driving lessons as there too expensive, so can i practice in my sisters car and carry out the test in that car, or does it have to be a qualified instructors car?
I am from the UK

Yes you can but you have to make sure you have insurance cover and it may be that your sisters insurance company will not allow it to be used for a test.
You would be likely to have to prove the insurance for you when you go for a test in anything other than a school car.
To sit with you your sister has to be over 21 and had a licence for at least 3 years and be very understanding when you get it wrong!

you can use any car as long as you have a qualified driver with you, i think they have to be over a certain age, and have driven for a while

You can use another car as long as it is covered for you to drive and it as mot and tax but you have to let them know.

Yes, there's no legal requirement for having any professional instruction prior to taking a test in the UK, and most cars are suitable to take a test in, but check here;

You can practice as long as your sister, riding with you as your supervisor, is over 21 and has held a full licence for 3 years, and there is insurance in place to cover you. You can also take your test in her car, the examiner will want to see proof of insurance for you to drive and check that you have L plates front and rear.
There are a few cars which are unacceptable, I know a Mini convertible is one, because of visibility issues, but by far the vast majority are fine.
