Driving Without Licence, Insurance and MOT?
Any informative information on the above question would be gratefully received. I got caught driving without licence insurance or mot on a car which was in my name. I told the police that i had all the correct paperwork and was told to hand it in within 7 days, which i didnt. They came to my house and gave me 8 charges which are the obvious, driving without licence, insurance or mot, failing to produce these and attempting to pervert the course of justice. I was also caught last year for no insurance and had my licence revoked, 6 points and £350 fine. If anyone could tell me what ill be looking at it would be great. I know ive been stupid but at least i can admit it, unlike some other people.

Thanks.

Since you have already been caught before. They probably will take away your L's longer and give you a bigger fine. Buts its hard to say. They might try to make an example of you. You should get a lawyer, just to protect yourself.

i think the fact that you have history, and you lied, means that we're looking at quite a serious offence here.
if you get caught without licence, insurance or MOT, but it's your first time and you don't tell any porkies, you can usually get by, by saying your an idiot and your sorry and you won't do it again, and the punishment ain't too severe.
but the fact that you got caught before with the same thing shows that you haven't learnt, and weren't sorry the first time, and this will definitely go against you.
also, the fact that you lied to police will also definitely stand against you.
this time, you won't be able to pass it off by saying your sorry and won't do it again, because you said that before, and broke your promise.
in conclusion, i'd say that your looking at doing time. how long will depend on how you defend and present yourself, and the judge who oversees the case.
before you do the crime, think about the time - true cliché.

Youre nicked mate.

Well driving on a ban - youre gonna have to go to court, prolly be fined, I dont think you will get custodial, maybe some community service as this is not the first time you have driven without insurance. I owuldnt worry so much about the MOT.

Community service and a fine, and extended ban. Maybe 18month.

This time dont drive on the ban or you could get six months the next time youre pulled.

How stupid, and how selfish everybody else has insurance and MOT. What if you had had an accident and hurt someone, especially a child. Others get it right why cant't you and all the other idiots like you. You had a second chance and still didn't get it right. Hope they throw the book at you.

A hefty fine, another ban and possibly re take your driving test. A criminal record for the perverting so you'll have difficulty with any Criminal Record Check for employment. If you can ever get insurance again it will cost a fortune.

you will not go to prison. that for sure

.. when i was 18/20 in them 2 years i got caught 20/30 time doing this kind on thing.. ( fines & points ) is all i got .. but i never had a Licence for them to put points on lol..

but because you dont have a Licence
they just ban you

no Licence 3/6points
no Insurance 36points
no mot 3/6points

for you its looking like a ban & fine..

the points they give you will not go on your Licence when or if you get one

the points they give you is used tot Ban you .

Hope this helps

reckon you will be looking at a jail sentence to be honest. it wouldnt be so bad if it was just one or maybe two things wrong. but youve said loads of charges so the judge will want to teach u a lesson.

sounds like you'll be looking at more than a fine. You might get your license revoked and your insurance might pull out or raise your insurance.

Any driving offense involving no license, insurance or previous ban (and I'll shove alcohol/drugs in too) should result in a lifetime ban immediately. The person knows or should know whether or not they have insurance/a license and there's absolutely no excuse for driving while intoxicated (though that's not relevant here).

I'm hoping a lifetime ban, but I doubt it.

Sorry, but if you want flout the law, you'll have to take what's coming to you. - If you were big enough to take the risk, and to risk the law abiding motorists with your selfish actions, then you need to be big enough to take the wrap for you misdemeanours.

Its all fair and well you admitting you have done wrong but by the looks of it your not even sorry!!
What will it take for you to stop driving with no licence, MOT etc?
Does someone in your family have to be the victim of a hit and run by an uninsured driver for you to start realising what your doing is wrong!! you are putting peoples lives at risk with your stupidness and all you can care about is how long your going to get!! You are a selfish shamefull human being!!

As a worst-case scenario, it's quite possible the court may put you away as you clearly didn't learn from the last occasion. They can always find room for one more.

At the very least you're going to lose your licence for a long time (as if that made any difference to you, by the look of it), face a very heavy fine plus probably community service. Driving without insurance is a serious offence, as of course is attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Being as you were caught just a year ago for no insurance that will go against you. The judge could look on you as a serial offender and give you a prison sentence. At the very least you're looking at a hefty fine and a long ban xxxx

Driving without licence prob 6 points and £200 fine

No insurance 6 points and a bigger fine than last time.

No MoT and failing to produce will probably get no further action if banned and fined for the firdt two offences.

Attempting to pervert the course of justice. Not a clever thing to do, a custodial sentence will be very seriously considered.

To be honest I think this kind of irresponsibility should carry a lifetime driving ban. You have been more than stupid and lives were put at risk.
I don't know what you will get, but as parent with young children I hope they throw the book at you. Just think yourself lucky that I am not giving the sentence!

Losing your license for a while. A hefty fine...and if and when you get proper insurance you will be paying "triple the amount" as you will be a high risk for btwn 5-8 yrs. it does not pay to drive without insurance..etc etc..you could have caused a fatal accident causing death...Just think to yourself if somebody did what you did and killed your family. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL. Sorry but I have no sympathy for someone who did what you did not once but TWICE, If it was up to me you would never have a license again.
