They are obviously breaking the rules of their agreement. If they aren't causing any trouble to anyone, I would not report them.

it is not profiling. If they are causing some problem, then I would do something. If they are not, then don't. It would be racial if you called someone on them just because of their race, not because of them doing something illegal.

In my area of the country, they'd be violating housing restrictions...so yes, I'd turn them in. The only way you could call that "racial profiling" is if you want to assert that only illegal Mexicans overcrowd their homes to an unhealthy level. If you did that, I'd call it racist.
The ACLU, by the way, DID sue our county for "racial profiling" when we made housing restrictions. Apparently, the ACLU IS racist.

I live in a Mobile home park across from a white family in a small sized home. There is Grand paw. Grand maw, Mom. Dad, 3 children all living there. As long as they cause no trouble for me who am I to make trouble for them? If you suspect unhealthy living conditions and/or child abuse there is no reason to interfere.

I think youre an idiot for mentioning race at all in this.
Its a simple question of breaking the laws set down in the fire code. No more than 2 people per bedroom in an apartment. Nothing else factors in.

No, not racial profiling. In my area, every person has to have 230 sq. ft. of living space in a rental. Check with your county/city to see if that rule applies. Also, the landlord may not be aware of the over abundant amount of people living in his apartment. I would advise the landlord of this. If he pays for water, or any of the utilities, in fact, those would be higher because of the amount of people using them.

As long as they aren't making alot of noise and mind their own business I would leave them alone. It would be up to the management to do something about overcrowding. I do know that if there are too many people in an apt. it tends to make the whole place look more run down.Just too many people using the pool and too many cars everywhere. I see it happening everywhere but then again, the rents are so high nowdays, the only way to save money is to have roomates.
It is not an easy question to answer.

Depends... If they are good people in a hard time then " no" , if they are slobs and are causing health concerns , as well as providing a breeding ground for roaches then " Yes".
A lot of people will say no you shouldn't , or you are being racists. If those 7 people are living in filth perhaps the social services should look into it.
If they are adults and can't take care of them selves, how do you know they are taking care of their children, if they are not able to take the time to change their own clothes, then will they take time to change a baby's diaper.
It depends on the severity of the circumstance, but you are the only one that is witness to that.

I think this has nothing to do with racial profiling, this has to do with the law and what the law states about how many people can inhabit a dwelling. There could be other issues here too with an example of a fire hazard. I would turn this is especially if it was more than just how many people were living there.

After reading this post and the other one, it seems to me, as an unbiased newcomer, that the purpose of the other question was to convince people NOT to report illegal aliens any way he could use, since he tried several unconvincing reasons for not reporting illegal aliens. The responses to the question were appropriate, and everybody "blasted" the poster.
This question is not even remotely similar and is definitely racial profiling, as nearly everyone identified. This question served no purpose, as anyone with a little common sense can easily identify racial profiling.
I agree, that all criminals should be reported regardless of the race of the perpetrator(s).

If they're not bothering you in any way (noise, garbage etc.), leave them alone. It doesn't sound like they're lowering your property value by being there, since you say you're in an apt., then you're just a renter too.,,,,And "NO",,,it's not profiling,,,,,just a case of the """Low Rent Blues""""

Why are you turning them in? Did they do something to you? How they live is their business, as long as no one is being hurt or abused then I say leave it alone.

I would report them because most communities, counties and cities have laws that limit the number of people living in a household, especially in an apartment.
Those who have told you to not report them are really being stupid. Just like so many out there that are too afraid to stand up to what is right. Too much of that complacent attitude has lead to so many problems through out time. If you really feel you should turn them in then do what you think is right.

Turn them in for what? Being Mexican?
If you are not racist, then why did you even mention their race in your original post, you should have just said that your neighbors have too many living in one house.
First you have to find out if they are even breaking any laws by having some many in one house. If there is a law it is to protect children
. If you are going to tell anyone, call their landlord first. It's his house and he has a right to know if there are too many occupants, Mexican or not. He might not even care as long as they are neat and pay the rent on time.
Good Luck with your ethical real-life dillema

yes it sounds like racial profiling to me. Why are they turning them in? Because they are Mexican or because there is a law about how many npeople can live in a 2 bed apartment. The question starts off about race so I think its profiling.

Turning them in based on race alone is racial profiling.
Turning them in if you have reason to suspect they are an illegal alien or have committed a crime, ANY CRIME, regardless of what race they are, is not.
As the other people said, this question is no comparison to the other one whiz provided a link to and proves nothing. You are still wrong on your last question....and he's right, you lose....again.
edit.
Most people have enough common sense to identify "racial profiling" as was evidenced by this post. Don't know what you expected to prove here. But if you have definite reason to suspect a crime was committed, REPORT IT!!!!!!!!! No matter what race the person or people are. Duhhh.

This example you gave IS racial profiling. As whiz said, the other question is not, and SHOULD be reported. If you have reason to suspect a crime was committed, report it.
BTW, your last question was a "dumb question", the one whiz provided a link to, and as such, you were blasted VERY WELL!!!!!

Gave up on the other question and want to try another tactic huh?? As numerous people on this post said, turning them in based on their race alone IS racial profiling, which is the example you gave, and could possibly be "filing a false report". Turning them in if you have reason to SUSPECT they committed a crime IS NOT!! You proved nothing by asking this question. The other question and responses still stand and are right. YOUR response was WRONG!!
As was said on the other post. If you SUSPECT a crime was committed, report it. NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. It has nothing to do with race. YOU are the one trying to make it about race. You said nothing in this post that made them an illegal alien or suspicion of being an illegal alien.
People are NOT that stupid to not be able to see through you.
You are an illegal alien sympathizer. I see your questions and answers are now private. No matter.
BTW, here's the link to the other question in which heartlessdorothy's attempt to "protect illegal aliens" from being reported backfired....

EDIT: I provided the link so people can see your true purposes here. All people need to do is read the post and see your real intentions like glass. Numerous people blasted you. This "question" provides an example of racial profiling and, as such, proves nothing, and is no comparison to the other question. You lose, again.
