AZ BaconProduct	Well, the border is not secure because the Border Patrol has been ordered to focus on immigrants that are only coming here to work and live the American Dream, and not who they are originally suppose to stop, and that's "Terrorist and Weapons of Mass Destruction". Dirty Dog	A wall is a huge investment that is a ridiculous answer considering the other plausible options. Although I'm a big supporter of legal immigration, limiting illegal immigration is an issue. If the U.S. really wanted to keep illegal immigrants out of this country, all that has to be done is for state and federal agencies to enforce the existing laws on the employers who employ illegal immigrants. The more companies and businesses that get prosecuted and fined, the more other companies and businesses that currently employ them will likely stop. Joe C	The border is not secure because the U.S. government is taking its marching orders from big business and special interest groups to keep the borders open. Securing the border is very cost-effective to secure and a wall with buried mine fields towards the Mexican border would definitely work. Quirk	Two simple reasons: 1. Cheap Mexican labor. All that cabbage isn't going to pick itself. And all the rich people's homes aren't going to clean themselves. And nobody is going to pay minimum wage to make stuff like that get done. 2. Courting the Immigrant vote. Cameran F	You SHOULD be more concered with Canadian borders, considering thats a main way of terrorists coming in (if u didn't know already its easier for them to get in if they go thru canada first), I didnt know too many terrorists coming in by way of mexico. of course illegal mexicans are a problem, but we should focus on the real problem in america now, and that is keeping us safe from killers and terrorists.
