im from mexico and i am studying in the usa cosmetology, i'll get my license really soon and will like to work for a year in the usa in a beauty salon... which work visa should i apply? how much does it cost? and how long does it take me to get it? also if i find someone who wants to hired me but im not licensed yet, can i start applying?
You will not be able to get an H-1B visa as you do not have the academic qualifications to get one. An H-2B visa is for seasonal or peak load work and I doubt whether you will get this either. As for the TN visa, your occupation is not on the list of allowed NAFTA professional jobs so you will not be able to get a visa.
