If you have "leave to remain in the UK" you're not a British citizen. Only these are entitled to British passports, as in every other country. You are not. Use the passport from the country that you're a citizen of.
If you have INDEFINITE leave to remain in UK for two years then u need to apply for naturlisation. Once naturalised, then u have to apply for British citizenship and after having that u can apply for British Passport.
You would need to go through tests (English language & British History) to qualify different stages I mentioned above.
