How Long can I stay in the states without a greencard with a british passport?

Hey guys,
I'm planning on coming to the states and staying for 2 months and then going back to the UK. I have a British Passport and have been to America about 11 times.
I would like to get a greencard, but for now, my plans are to come to america, train with a professional boxing team for 2-3 months, leave for a month or 2 and come back and do it again and again.
Basically live half my year or more in the states.
What are the rules and so on and is it possible?

I don't think I made it clear the first time, sorry.
I don't understand the rules on how long I can stay or how many times I can come a year.
I'm not trying to dodge any bullets or cheat.
I just want to know how long I can stay. I have a UK passport, and want to come to America and leave to see my family and come back a few times in the year. I would like to live a life there as long as my visa/passport lets me.
I'm not planning on working there, because I get my income from my business set in the UK. and I won't be joining the boxing team yet, it's not as easy as that.

visa waiver get you 90 days. you can probably stay in the country up to 6 months after the expiration, but under no circumstances stay longer than that, otherwise you can't come back.

listen , apply for a working visa, you can stay up to a year ...
stop trying to dodge the bullet, one day they will prevent you comeing back in
phone the ins they have all the paper work for this

If you are training with a professional boxing team, they should apply for an H3 Trainee visa for you, that is valid for up to 2 years.
If you are already considered a professional boxer in your home country, then the US boxing team can apply for a P1 visa for Athletes and Entertainers on your behalf. This is the visa most sports teams use when bringing in athletes from abroad.
