realdolby	The culture gap is far too wide for Turkey to join the EU as is those from Eastern Europe.All provide cheap labour at the expense of our own workers.But has to be remembered they milk the system for every penny they can and we have to provide Housing and health care as a matter of course.Their cultures centre on survival at any cost,Crime,Prostitution,to name only two.They have a shocking human rights record so the answer is a firm no. Willow	Definitely not. When the majority of decent politicians are admitting that the vast numbers who have come here has been damaging to the country, why on earth are they actively seeking to let more in? There is no doubt that once Turkey has been admitted to the EU their citizens will come here in their thousands. The Queen has been forced to submit to this because the EU will soon have the power to bin her. She is toeing the line because she has been told that the EU will allow her to remain in her present position if she acquiesces to their demands. So even our dear Maj is prepared to sell her people down the river to hang on to her position. It is Britain who is now secular, thanks to the destruction of our heritage and culture, a destruction cultivated and nurtured since we joined the then EEC. Turkey is Muslim, do not be fooled, Turkey is an amazing country, why anyone would wish to leave it I cannot imagine, Islam is fine when practised in Muslim countries. Why any Muslim who despises western culture and it's debaucherous lifestyle would choose to move to a western country beggars belief. So, we must ask ourselves two whys? Why is our country so intent on making them members, and why will thousands of them opt to come here? It is not rocket science, Saudi Arabia anyone? If anyone mentions trade or commerce I will chuck this PC out of the window.......I am sick to death of hearing how being in the EU has benefitted our trade. We traded well enough long before the EEC, all that has happened since is that they have destroyed our trade, commerce and industry. The indigenous population are now nothing but pen pushers, jobsworths, waiting on staff, council employees paid to provide lip service, or benefit scroungers. Pauper Prince	If Israel can jump eagerly to be in EU, that has nothing to with Europe (Israel is in Middle East/Asia), Turkey is at least physically 20% is in Europe. Turkey is not a Muslim country, its secular country with Muslims in majority of population.
