God made world and Neta made countries. Countries are the benefit of residents. If there is no passport etc. poor will start going to rich places. Rich has made these rules.

Baby, Don't forget me.
It helps to keep you safe. If your a terrorist they don't want you going to a new country

If there weren't so many safety issues you probably wouldn't need them

A passport is a travel document issued by a national government that identifies the bearer as a national of the issuing state and requests that the bearer be permitted to enter and pass through other countries, and a visa is a document issued by a country giving an individual permission to formally request entrance to the country during a given period of time and for certain purposes

I would be very interested in the definition of "your own world". Do you consider the entire planet as yours? If so no wonder we inhabitants of this planet run into trouble again and again! If you are an US citizen the only place you kind of have the right to call it "your own world" is the United States. All other countries on this planet have their own independent status which has to be respected by foreigners. That's one reason you need a passport and visas (for most countries) if you want to visit other countries.

'Cuz de mon seyso, mon.

Alternatively, it could be 'cause otherwise you won't arrive at your destination on time - or at all, for that matter.

Or it could be 'cause you've decided to get with the program.

Pick one, or - make up your own reason!

Because it is not all "your world". You are a citizen of a country.... When you leave your country to enter another, you are a guest. And that country gets to decide who comes in and what documents are needed.

wise men have divided your world into hundreds of parts which are called countries. each country has a distinct boundary. each country has different kind of political and administrative system and different kind of ruler, which does not allow people like u to enter their country on your own.if u wish to visit, u will be required to get their permission. Passport and visa are the requisite documents to get their permission.

You don't - your "own world" has already been defined for you as the country in which you hold citizenship, through which you do not need a passport or visa in order to travel.

Because humans are scared and need security for which they allow power hungry people to divide this world with artificial boundaries demarking certain area called countries.

Now these power hungry people start thinking that this area and people living inside are their property and others are not and they start playing complex games to get more area under their direct / indirect control.

At the same time in their quest to get more peoples support they allow humans to multiply rapidly engage in all kinds of activities which are hazardous to other humans....and the plots gets more complex with each additional human till finally this whole world is one big mess and no one trusts others neither do they want others.

So you need document to identify yourself and a permit from some other "power" to allow you in their area and so on.

Have you heard of fear, greed, hatred .....
