chiefof nothing	My friend recently married a Colombian..he says to bring as many fotos as possible with the two of you with her family members...if a wedding has been performed bring fotos of the ceremony and all in attendence..iin China both man and woman have to produce elegibility for marriage to be granted a license..in China the granting is considered the wedding having taken place you need do nothing more in Chinas eyes you were married the moment the license was issued... Make 2 files with copies of every form..letters from either government..listing fotos date location ocassion and pictured people...also keep a chronology of activity..brief explaination of response requested/required..NAMES and titles with address/phone no. and the resolution fo the problem/request... mcbrian2000	That form is the called the I-130 spousal form. I know that process quite well. I am in fact in that process now. Go to USCIS.com and find that form and the additional forms to print out and then send in. It generally takes 4-14 months to complete. However it is a much safer process then the k-90 fiance visa. Good luck, email me anytime if you need some more info. ps. dont hire a lawyer, they are rip offs. You can do the process yourself, just be patient and thorough. Pandak	It doesn't matter where the Embassy is located; the issue is the same--Are you legally able to marry? Have you been married before? If so, do you have a certified document showing your divorce? Are you sane? (That is not being forced into a marriage, still have your wits about you.) That's pretty much it... You might want to think about the fact that you're not marrying one person, you're marrying a whole family--mom, pop, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, third cousins, second cousins, fifth cousins, all wanting a piece of you.
