My passport has been stolen,my visa expires in 15 days,whan can i do now,can any one help me?

jadelyncinn	hsmp visa!!!?? Well that was pertinent information - telling us that you are in the UK. You still have to follow the steps below: Steps to take: 1. Go file a police report ASAP. Use copies of the first two pages of your passport and get your passport #. I hope you have copies. Call home, to see if they can fax you a copy or any forms that u filled out with your passport #. Take a copy of the police report with you. Make copies of your own. You need this. 2. Report to your own embassy in the UK that your passport was lost/stolen. They will need a copy of the police report. Ask them to expedite this request. They should have emergency services. 3. You then need to transfer your visa to your new passport. Contact the Immigration and Border Agency: http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/ (click on UK residency and then transfer visa to new passport) You should fill out a form [NTLTOC] and pay a fee. You will need to prove that you had a valid UK visa. To do this, you can: - obtain a copy of the original letter that was sent to you from the UK embassy. OR - contact the issue post (embassy that issued your visa) for proof. Send them your name, date of birth, passport #, the two front pages of your passport, address in the UK and email address. They can provide a ceritified copy of your visa. 4. When you request to transfer your visa to your new passport - at this point in time, request an extension as well -- * You have to be quick in filing the police report and, contacting your consulate immediately; Most consulates can issue a passport within a day if you have all the necessary paperwork (birth certificate...etc).
