Visit the immigration office and get your visa extended, they may ask you for a fine on a daily basis or if you can convince them the genuine reason, it may be waived.Best wishes

Likelihood, you will not be deported. You need to pay a fine, roughly 500 bahts per day.
I believe that the easiest thing to do is to go to the Thai immigration and fill in the form. You can have your visa extended up to 90-180 days, depending on the circumstances. The cost is approximately 1,000 bahts or around 30 US dollars. It is cheaper to do it.
If you decide to leave Thailand without going to extend your visa, the fine is heavier than the extended fees. You should have no problem regarding this matter. Thai immigration is helpful and you need to state the reason regarding why you go stuck at the airport. Sometimes, it is related to Act-of-God and no one could assist you. Some tourists missed the bus connections and there were several other reasons.
Try to be polite while talking to the officers. Likelihood, your smile and sincerity will win over the case.
