He's a goner. He's in hell now, with his boys. And most of the people he murdered.

"He's dead i feel sorry for the man"
I don't understand what there is to feel sory for. Should we disregard the thousands he had murdered? What puts his life above the millions he ended so soon? Why is his life so valued by so many, while the hundreds of thousands of unpassed graves are often so disregarded?
The thumbs down only confirm the disregard for his mass destruction, the more thumbs down you give me, the more you liberals dig your own graves. O no, people don't agree with me, now all my friends will leave me because my answers Yahoo! answers aren't popular. I hope the media doesn't find out, I'll be ruined for speaking out on my poliical opinions. God forbid anyone speak their political views freely. I'm glad we neve ratified the Bill of Rights...whew..lucky me...

I'm not advocating Capitol punishment, nor am I against it. I think hanging is getting of pretty easy for what he did though.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S.-backed Iraqi television station Al Hurra said Saddam Hussein had been executed by hanging shortly before 6 a.m. (0300 GMT) on Saturday.
The former Iraqi president ousted in April 2003 by a U.S.- led invasion was convicted in November of crimes against humanity over the killings of 148 Shi'ite villagers from Dujail after a failed assassination bid in 1982.
An appeals court upheld the death penalty on Tuesday. Iraq's government has kept details of its plans to conduct the execution completely secret amid concerns it could spark a violent backlash from his former supporters.

as for the person bashing the guy who's sad about the death.
THAT'S NATURAL to be sad when something/someone dies!!
Who ever it may be!! It's horrible that death is dumbed down to the point where nobody cares anymore....

Every ruler has to avenge an attempt at assasination, otherwise it will happen again. so - What did Sadam Husein do that was good? He held the people of Iraq together. The same way that president Generalisimo Tito held Yugoslavia together. When Tito died, when Sadam was captured, the country turned to Sh*t.
I am a conservative American citizen living now for some years overseas, and so get an international viewpoint of the situation. Unfortunately, I must say, that whatever country USA invaded or changed the government in, has resulted in a real disaster of a new government. All countries of the world do not need American type democracy. In the middle east, they still live by the "eye for an eye" proverb, and that's why nothing has been settled.
