where's your place?
here in us, we just go to the national statistics office, fill up the infrormation sheet, pay at the counter with the particular amount then just i think after 3days we go back there and then, we'll have our authenticated birth certificate or an authentic marriage contract.

whew. filipinos are really slow. why can't they just print it right away after it was paid.?

Most states have a department of vital statistics or something along those lines--the name may vary with the state. You'll need to contact that department in the state of your birth.

you have to contact to the county or state health dept and they can tell you. those records are by county and state health depts and vital statistics. if you know where you were born get out the blue govt pages and start caling around. try the health dept first of look for birth cert or vital stats or records or county clerks. have fun.

Write to the Division of Vital Statistics of the place where the person was born. Ask how much it costs and where to mail a check or money order. You should be able to find the information to the Division of Vital Statistics on the web.

Good luck.

In the U. S., contact the Vital Records or Vital Statistics Department in your state. Every state has one. You'll need to contact the state that you were born in if you're talking about "your" birth certificate. They keep the permanent records. If you're talking about getting a copy of someone else's birth certificate, you may have to jump through a few hoops for that! Seriously, contact the same place, but it's difficult to get a birth certificate for someone other than yourself, your children, or your parents. Good Luck!
