I think the mood of EU citizens, after the No-vote for the EU Constitution, is that we should have a trading organisation with each other, but have a respect for each country's originality rather than a bunch of people in Brussels telling each country how they should do X, Y, and Z. If you know what i mean. :)

Yes I do think UK should leave the European Union. The UK put more into it than they get out of it.

The UK is the only state that argues with the EU because it is the only state that does not rely on it for its major income.Britain has a very small manufacturing base and drwas most of its income from services, banking, insurance and overseas holdings. Finally and heres one to get people here going 80% of our income comes from the goog ole USA.Now you know why Blair has his nose stucuck up Bush's a.

No. The EU isn't perfect but we're better off in it. The world economy is shortly going to consist of several major trading blocs and it would be economic suicide to leave the biggest one.

Of course not! We'd lose a hell of a lot of business from EU countries, and the farming industry would collapse immediately without bailing it out with approximately two pence on income tax.

Of course we should leave, this is a organisation that is anarchic, democratically unelectable and opaque. It is taking away our soverignty, and creating a homogenous supra state of Europe. As for the economy question how would that affect Britain, Switzerland is still a rich nation yet has no ties with the EU, the US is the worlds largest state, and yes whilst of course it is not in Europe it is still able to create a strong economy with out the need to join an anarchic institution. Following the United State example Britain should create its own treaties based on America's treaties of NAFTA, which allow the British to trade with other state without being in the unnecessary, ungovernable, opaque, bloated monster of the EU, a monster that recently spent over a million euros a day trying to solve the Arab Isreali conflict, it took it a year and a half to realise, that like all organisations before it , it couldn't solve the crisis.

I think we should treat it in a more French style. Only use it when it suits us, and ignore the rest.

Leaving EU would actually be a very hard blow to the UK economy! So NO, I think UK shouldn't leave the EU.
There are also some other reasons why I think that way... actually, in some ways UK should try and be more like the other EU countries! (don't mean anithing to harm the Britishness here, just some law things, like, that one can actually harm a burglar [in self-defense] in their own house and then NOT go to jail)
