Since the "Green Card" is only a working permit for the USA, it is not a valid visa for any other country, including the European ones. However, it would be a good reference for you to get a visa from the European countries. Consequently, it would be better if you could enclose a photocopy of your Green Card to your visa applications to other countries.

No.
Green card is for identification purpose.
It is not a travel document.
You must have a passport and apply visas from embassies.

An american piece of paper doesnt mean much to the countries in Europe. You need to apply to the embassy of the country you are visiting.

It's a visa for the US no where else. You will need to do what ever Yemeni passport holders have to do, I would guess you need a visa for the UK & whatever other European countries you want to go.

A "Green Card" just allows you to work in the US
To visit UK and Europe you need Visitor's Visa(s). Got to the Embassy(ies) of the country(ies) you wish to visit and apply for a Visa. You will need to get valid Visa stamps in your passport for all the countries you wish to visit BEFORE you travel. If you don't, you WILL endure probing interviews with the immigration officers of the country(ies) in question and be put on the first flight back to the US/Yemen.

You need a visa.
I quote "A visa is a certificate that is put into your passport or travel document by an Entry Clearance Officer at a British mission overseas. The visa gives you permission to enter the UK.
If you have a valid UK visa we will not normally refuse you entry to the UK unless your circumstances have changed, or you gave false information or did not tell us important facts when you applied for your visa.
When you arrive in the UK, an Immigration Officer may ask you questions, so take all relevant documents in your hand luggage."

Most countries in Europe will not let you enter with a residence card you have to have full passport. Your still not an American citizen until you have US passport. So under European law your still a Yemeni citizen
