If you mean alter your J-1 visa so it does not show the 2-year foreign residence requirement, no, you cannot erase it.
If you mean "Is there a way to avoid the 2-year requirement," then the answer is yes. You can apply for a 212(e) waiver.
As it is unclear what you mean by erase, I won't elaborate on the 212(e) wavier rule. The data is easy to find in the Internet.

If you have no moral or ethical boundaries, and wish to lie in order to meet your own needs, then by all means (just use a pencil eraser). When you are then officially barred entry into, or officially removed from the US, the country will definitely be a better place. We already have enough people there trying to cheat the system.
