BMW	Judging by some of the sentences handed out these days for car criminals in all of their facets, the guys who travel a little over the speed limits are treated as fodder. In the sixty's as a young lad I was fined for parking on the Queens Highway without road tax ( not driving) the sum of ten pounds + a three months driving ban. My how things change. Ten pounds then was a weeks net salary to me. Today for that sort of offence a trivial fine would be imposed. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Trevor h	National Speed Limit on a 2-lane road (single carriageway) is 60 not 50. From 3 lanes into 2 - if it is still a dual carriageway then the national speed limit remains 70 - so no need to slow down. I think this question is pretty pointless really - false number plates????? Autoinspector	It's a completely different ball game - speeding will bring you a ticket and will make insurance company a bit richer while forging license plates will land you in jail meaning no legit individual would ever do that. To make it simple, law-abiding citizens get screwed by everybody while outright criminals not only walk but usually are considered "outstanding members of the society".
