This does not mean that you would have to have all the windscreen replaced, as some can be 'healed' by the windscreen technician at a fraction of the cost.
You should get it seen to right away. Although the cracks are small, they have weakened your windscreen and the next time your windscreen gets hit by a small stone it could disastrous.Not only would your windscreen completely shatter and cause you to lose site of the road, you could be in a situation where you were not so lucky and cause a terrific accident.

the best thing for you to do is to log on to
www.autoglass.co.uk
you can arrange a booking online and they will call you to confirm the order and they will come out to your home or work and repair the chip and crack if it is repairable, if it cant be repaired then they can order you a windscreen and if you are fully comp you only pay your windscreen exess (different from your voluntary insurance excess)
. depending on the size and location of the chip or crack if could restrict your vision of the road and therfore fail an mot.

Take it to a windscreen place, or to your local garage or garage that you use, and get it checked, it may be OK until your next MOT, or it may need changed, get it checked by someone who knows.

Call your insurance company and find out who your authorised repairer is (if you have comprehensive insurance). If it is fixable, you wont pay your excess. If the whole glass has to be replaced, you pay the excess. Windscreen claims are never held against you but they do need to be reported to your insurance as some companies will void your policy or load the premium if they find out about undeclared incidents.
