Yes please let her do it. That is why she has a permit. So you can watch her and help her (not correct her). It is a safe habit to rest every few hours and let somone else do it. Hey she will like the fact that she was part of the vacation and be able to brag to her friends that she DROVE to the vacation spot. Watching her do it will tell you that not to long she will be grown. Don't worry they come back to live with you later on. Please enjoy your trip and take lots of picture of her driving.

Honestly, I agree with the person that said to check with your DMV. They should have the answere for you or they should be able to help you find the answere to your question. I believe it varies state to state.

There are some restrictions with a learner's permit. I'm not totally sure, but someone with a learner's permit cannot drive after 9:00 PM or on interstate highways. Dont go by my answer, these are just some rumors that I heard. The laws will probably vary from state to state.

It'll be a big risk for you to take. Just make sure she'll be capable of doing so. You need to be sitting in the passenger's seat the whole time and I think here in New York, it is illegal to have a child as a backseat passenger.

As long as the person sitting in the passenger seat beside her has an operators license, its ok. And she is on the family insurance. Check with your company cause most states are different. Have fun!

You need to check with the DMV of each state that you will be visiting. Some states allow permits from out-of-state and some don't. Some allow permits from nearby neighboring states if you live near the state line. Even where they honor the permit, you must check the age limits as well. Some states allow a permit at age 14 or 15 while others are 15 yrs and 6 months or 15 years and 9 months. If the permit driver is under age, they may NOT drive under any circumstances.
