My car has an expensive body kit, and i got into a crash. The accident was not my fault. Will the insurance company replace my bumper? with a OEM bumper or a the same after market bumper i had? the color of my car is after market too. My rear bumper is custom fitted to fit my 3 inch exhaust pipping, a stock bumper will not fit.

I can tell you from dealing with insurance companies that some will and some will not replace it with the aftermarket one and the insurance companies that I have the most problems are just like the situation that you are in.

They will try and lowball the repair job because they will not want to pay out that much but if you have receipts that can back up what you have done that will help.

If they don’t want to put you back in the condition before the accident then you can sue the other party for the difference and the court system will make you whole again less deprecation..

The insurance should replace with "like kind and quality", so if you had a fancy bumper, it should replace it with the same.

That is the job of your insurance company. Their job is to pay for damages. Whenever you are in an accident the insurance company pays for whatever damages that are done to the vehicle whether it is your fault or not. It also depends on what insurance company you are registered with. Some are more lenient than others. You should call your insurance company and see if they will indeed replace this bumper.
