Is it safe to attach my cell phone to my car steering wheel to be able to use the speakerphone feature?

Adrian	You could, instead, get a car that has a hands-free bluetooth system with steering wheel controls. These are great, they use your car's stereo as the speakerphone, and you never have to even touch your cellphone while driving. The microphone is above you near the rear view mirror. The stereo even automatically reduces the volume of the music so you can hear the phone. Very nice. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

tkquestion	I would caution against doing it. Don't forget the generally forward motion of your car, and the fact "flip up" action happens very fast. It can become a projectile in collision. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Vince M	I think you provided your own answer in those last four words: "I do not think." How, exactly, would you attach it? By what method to you think you could manage a front end collision so that the steering wheel will ALWAYS be in the straight front position? What is wrong with a postion somewhere ELSE in the car? Why not use a perfectly legal hands free device? Even if your phone is not compatible with a wireless headset, they make wired headsets for virtually ALL pnones. Heck, our local Wallgreen's pharmacy has a bin full of these for under $10. And, finally, what is so danged important about the cell phone that you would go through all this trouble just so you can use it? Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

chevyss396427	if your going to go the speakerphone route, why not just set it in the cupholder in the center console, modern speakerphones are pretty sensitive Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
