cq	I use one firm that i have used a lot which is a fully licensed one. Never hail a cab off the street when you are on your own. I also have several friends who i text or call on the journey home and then they know where i am and when i get home. If i want to go out i need to get a taxi home so that is just how i have to do it! Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

David F	yes as long as you use a hackney carriage taxi the driver has been registered with the local authority as ok ask to see his/her badge the driver is required to have the badge visible whilst on duty.do not use a mini cab as some operators are dodgy to say the least apart from that as the car is not fitted with a fare meter the driver could charge you whatever he/she wanted to Was this answer helpful to you? Eddie,ra sellic fans hate WATP	there's rules i tell my own daughter and other girls out for a night 1/before you get in always look for a local council plate (and familiarise yourself with the layout/colour, ect, of these plates) 2/ ask to see the drivers badge every taxi driver has one and it should be visible 3/ if it does`nt feel right..find another taxi if all is ok ...ask them if they are busy and always tip your taxi Was this answer helpful to you?
