There is no limit. As many laws as you break is as many tickets as you will get.

As many as he wants, I got a reckless driving, and 3 following to close tickets at one time before. lawyer dropped it all down to speeding.

really depends on how much you piss him off when he pulls you over.

They can give you as many as they deem necessary and they are all separate citations, not one big bill.

These facts are based on VIRGINIA LAWS

An officer can legally give you a ticket for every violation you have committed. A lot of times if he's a decent person and you are cooperative, he'll overlook some of the less serious offenses (maybe a low tire tread...which he'll warn you to get fixed) and only write the ticket for the more serious, such as speeding, etc. A lot of times if he writes you for something in which there was no way he could have observed as a passing vehicle, he'll have to write you for the reason he stopped. Example: If he pulls you over for a busted tail light but then finds marijuana in your lap, sure the drug charge is serious enough to where he COULD cut you a break on the brake light, but in court he'll have to show the reason he pulled you over in the first place (probable cause) so therefore he'll write the brake light ticket.

As far as fees, in Virginia courts, each ticket has it's own fine. One of those tickets gets the full cost of court ($61) and each subsequent ticket gets just the fine plus $10 instead of another $61.

There is no limit to the amount of summonses that a Police Officer may issue to a motorist or a corporate respondent. It depends on the violations.

I personally have issued 12 to an individual and 31 to a company truck.

Vorhees a jolly good fellow
It depends really. If you are involved in a chase, most police cars have a camera fitted, and they also record chases, so that the person driving will get a fine for each of the offences.

If you watch shows like worlds wildest, etc etc, you can hear the officer saying speeds, and what offences the driver has commited.

If you commited a large amount of offences, you would go to court, and usually serve jail time rather than paying the fine. Although, it depends on the crime.

1 ticket per violation, no limits, but after so many, they can arrest you and impound your car

He can give you as many tickets as there are violations. Each violation would have its own charge/fee.

A Police officer can issue citations for each offense that has been seen. Such as Unlicensed Driving, Failure to stop at a Stop Sign/Red Light, dangerous driving, etc. Depending on the law enforcement rules in your jurisdiction it may be on the same paper, or different paper for each offense.

As many as he wants to. He may watch you break several laws and write you a ticket for every single one.

He can issue as many as the number of infractions committed. You will be charged for all of them at once and the fine will be tallied. You may be able to get a reduction on your own by writing the DA, but with that many tickets it will probably be worth the expense of a lawyer.
