Driving with a ticket and i got into a fender bender?
my boyfriend got into a fender bender and it was the other driver's fault. there was just a small scratch on the bumper of the other guy's car. they exchanged infos but thats about it. no one filed a police report. my boyfriend's truck just had some white paint on his bumper and he's not really worried about it at all. the thing is, he is driving on a ticket and so far hasnt gotten his driver's license back. would this pose a problem if the other driver decides to take this further (although i dont see why he would considering the accident is his fault)
no driver's license would be a problem to start with having a wreak while driving without will be a bigger one and if your boyfriend is driving without then it become his fault for just being on the road without a driver's license because hes not legal to drive without it
Actually, the main problem is that your boyfriend is driving with a suspended license. It is illegal to operate a vehicle without a license. So if he is pulled over by the police then he will be taken to the police station and jailed. He needs to stay off of the road until he gets his license back. Secondly, whenever you get into a fender bender you should always file a police report. Exchanging info is not good enough. What if the other person decides to take him to court? Since there was no police report he may be sued because its his word against the other driver. Also there is no guarantee that the other driver won't press charges. Always cover yourself because that is how people commit fraud by pressing charges when initially there should have been a police report.
